5. Cleaning the Pre-Cleaning Exposure Cover
1) Remove the drum unit. (See p. 4-64.)
2) Remove the photosensitive unit. (See p. 4-66.)
3) Remove the screw q, and remove the mounting
plate w.

4) Slide out the pre-cleaning exposure cover e,
and clean it.

5) Push in the pre-exposure cover, and install the
mounting plate and the photosensitive drum;
then, install the drum unit.

6. Cleaning the Upper Transfer Guide
1) Remove the drum unit. (See p. 4-64.)
2) Remove the screw q (front, rear), and remove
the positioning bush w (front, rear).

3) Holding the right side of the upper transfer guide
e, turn it in the direction of the arrow.
