2. Detecting the Paper size in the Multifeeder
The slide guide of the multifeeder is equipped
with a variable resistor to detect the width of
paper.
The width of copy paper detected by the vari-
able resistor is used for controlling the lens. The
length of paper when the multifeeder is used, on
the other hand, is identified the paper size
whether large or small in relation to the signal in
which the multifeeder large size detection sensor
(Q41) remains ON.
