4. Reciprocating Mechanism for the
Thermistor
The thermistor is moved back and forth over a
distance of 12 mm in the axial direction of the
upper fixing roller to prevent damage to the roller
by the thermistor (reciprocating mechanism).
The drive for the mechanism is obtained from
the cleaning belt solenoid (SL1) through a one-
way arm.
