ip igmp max-groups
To set the maximum number of IGMP groups that a Layer 2 interface can join, use the ip igmp
max-groups command. To set the maximum back to the default, use the no form of this command.

Usage Guidelines
You can use ip igmp max-groups command only on Layer 2 physical interfaces; you cannot set IGMP
maximum groups for routed ports, switch virtual interfaces (SVIs), or ports that belong to an
EtherChannel group.
Examples
This example shows how to limit the number of IGMP groups that an interface can join to 25.
Switch(config)# interface gigabitethernet1/1
Switch(config-if)# ip igmp max-groups 25
