spanning-tree port-priority
To prioritize an interface when two bridges compete for position as the root bridge, use the
spanning-tree port-priority command. The priority you set breaks the tie. To revert to the default
setting, use the no form of this command.
Syntax Description

Defaults
Port priority value is set to 128.

Examples
This example shows how to increase the possibility t hat the spanning tree instance 20 will be chosen as
the root-bridge on interface FastEthernet 2/1:
