Installing the Cooling Shroud

CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized is not covered by
warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
CAUTION:
Never operate your system with the cooling shroud removed. The
system may get overheated quickly, resulting in shutdown of the system and loss of
data.
1 Align and gently press the cooling shroud down on the system board until
the anchor tabs snap securely into place. See Figure 3-56.
2 Replace the two screws securing the cooling shroud to the sled tray. See
Figure 3-56.
3 Close the sled. See "Installing the Front and Back Sled Covers" on
page 165 or "Installing the Sled Cover" on page 168.
4 Replace the sled. See "Installing a Sled" on page 142.
