Installing the Back GPGPU Card Riser
CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your

warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
1 Connect the twin axial cable to the GPGPU card riser. See Figure 3-51.
2 Place the GPGPU card riser into the sled cover. See Figure 3-51.
3 Replace the two screws securing the GPGPU card riser to the sled cover.
See Figure 3-51.
4 Replace the back GPGPU card assembly. See "Installing the Back GPGPU
Card Assembly" on page 200.
5 Close the sled. See "Installing the Sled Cover" on page 168.
6 Replace the sled. See "Installing a Sled" on page 142.
Hard-Drive Cage Backplane
The following replacement procedure applies to sleds with 2.5-inch hard-drive
cage backplane or 3.5-inch hard-drive cage backplane.
Removing the 2.5-inch Hard-Drive Cage Backplane

NOTE:
A hard-drive cage backplane must be installed in each sled to maintain
proper airflow, even when the sled is in a diskless configuration.
