Sets, clears, or displays support FTP parameters, or a time interval to check the FTP server.
Synopsis supportftp [-S]
supportftp -s [-h hostip][-u username][-p password][-d remotedirectory]
supportftp -t hours
supportftp -R
supportftp -e
Description Use this command to set, clear, or display support FTP parameters, or a time interval to check the
FTP server. This command displays IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Operands This command has the following mutually exclusive operands:
-S
-s
-h hostip
-u username
-p password
-d remotedirectory
-t hours
-R
-e
If no parameter is not specified, the supportFtp command defaults to supportFtp -S.

Displays FTP parameters.
Sets FTP parameters. -s has the following optional operands:
Specifies FTP host IP address. It must be an IP address. hostip should be less
than 48 characters.
Specifies FTP user name. username should be less than 48 characters.
Specifies FTP user password. If the user name is anonymous, the password is
not needed. password should be less than 48 characters.
Specifies remote directory to store trace dump files. supportFtp cannot take a
slash (/) as a directory name. remotedirectory should be less than 48
characters.
Sets time interval to check FTP server. The -t operand has the following
required operand:
hours checks the connectivity of FTP server at the indicated time interval (in
hours).
Removes all files from the switch; //clears parameters
Enables auto file transfer.
switch:admin> supportftp -s -h 192.168.67.126 -u anonymous -d tracedump
supportftp: ftp parameters changed.
switch:admin> supportftp
