User Guidelines

The command can be enabled on a specific port only if port storm-control brodcast enable Interface
Configuration command is not enabled on that port.
Note: For PowerConnect 5400 devices, the calculated rate includes the 20 bytes of Ethernet framing
overhead (preamble+SFD+IPG).
Example
The following example limits the rate of the incoming traffic on Ethernet port 1/g15 to 1000kpbs.

console(config-if) rate-limit 1000
show qos interface
The show qos interface User EXEC mode command displays interface QoS data.
Syntax

show qos interface [queuing | shapers | rate-limit] [ethernet interface-number | port-channel
number]

queuing — Displays the queue's strategy (WRR or EF) and the weight for WRR queues and the
CoS to queue map and the EF priority.

shapers — Displays the shaper of the specified interface and the shaper for the queue on the
specified interface.
•
rate-limit — Displays the rate-limit configuration.
•
ethernet interface-number — Valid Ethernet port number.
port-channel number — Valid port-channel number.
