The bridge multicast forbidden address Interface Configuration mode command forbids adding a
specific Multicast address to specific ports. Use the no form of this command to return to default.
Syntax

bridge multicast forbidden address {mac-multicast-address | ip-multicast-address} {add | remove}
{ethernet interface-list | port-channel port-channel-number-list}

no bridge multicast forbidden address {mac-multicast-address | ip-multicast-address}
•
add — Adds ports to the group.
•
remove — Removes ports from the group.
•
mac-multicast-address — MAC Multicast address in the format of xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx.
•
ip- multicast-address — IP Multicast address is in the format xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
•
interface-list — Separate non consecutive valid Ethernet ports with a comma and no spaces;
hyphen is used to designate a range of ports.
•
port-channel-number-list — Separate non consecutive valid port-channels with a comma and no
spaces; a hyphen is used to designate a range of port-channels.
Default Configuration
No forbidden addresses are defined.
