Examples
The following example sets the line for automatic baud rate detection.
Console (config)# line console
Console(config-line)# autobaud

exec-timeout

The exec-timeout Line Configuration mode command sets the interval that the system waits until user
input is detected. Use the no form of this command to restore the default setting.
Syntax
exec-timeout minutes [seconds]
no exec-timeout
minutes — Integer that specifies the number of minutes. (Range: 0 - 65535)
seconds — Additional time intervals in seconds. (Range: 0 - 59)
Default Configuration
The default configuration is 10 minutes.
Command Mode
Line Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
To specify no timeout, enter the exec-timeout ("0 0") command.
Examples
The following example configures the interval that the system waits until user input is detected to 20
minutes.
Console (config)# line console
Console(config-line)# exec-timeout 20
