You can load your document either on the document glass or in the optional Duplex Automatic Document
Feeder (DADF). The DADF allows multiple sheets of documents to be loaded and copied. This section
explains the types of documents that can be placed on the document glass or loaded in the DADF.

Document Sizes

The sizes of documents that can be loaded on the document glass or in the DADF are as follows:

Automatic Document Size Sensing

This machine can automatically detect the document size for copying. You do not need to specify the
size of your document if it is in one of the sizes listed below.
● If you are making copies onto non-standard paper sizes, specify the document size by selecting Document Size Input from the
Added Features screen. For details on entering document sizes, refer to "5.12 Specifying Document Size".
