This feature allows you to change the document image to suit your purpose of copying.
Once an image quality preset is selected for copying, image qualities like Lighter/Darker, Sharpness, and
Density Control will be automatically adjusted. You can also fine-tune these image qualities after having
selected an image quality preset. Options available for this feature are:
Normal
Copies will be made with the default settings of Lighter/Darker, Sharpness, and Density Control.
Background Suppression
Prevents images from the reverse side of the document from being copied when copying the front.
Copies will be made based on the automatically selected settings of Lighter/Darker, Sharpness, and
Density Control.
Auto Contrast
The image quality of the document will be automatically adjusted to produce a clear and sharp image.
Copies will be made with the default settings of Lighter/Darker, Sharpness, and Density Control.
● Once an image quality preset has been selected, adjusting any image quality will automatically deselect it.
● Selecting Normal will revert the settings of Lighter/Darker, Sharpness, and Density Control to the factory settings.
● You cannot select Auto Contrast in combination with Multiple Up or Bound Originals.
