Preparation
If you are not using the print server, install SmartDeviceMonitor for Client, and then install the printer
driver by selecting "SmartDeviceMonitor for Client". This enables peer-to-peer network printing with
the TCP/IP, NetBEUI, or IPP protocol.
Installing SmartDeviceMonitor for Client

Close all applications that are running.

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
Auto Run will start the installer.
Note
Auto Run might not automatically work with certain OS settings. In this case, launch "Setup.exe"
located on the CD-ROM root directory.

Select a language to change the interface language, and then click [OK].
The following languages are available: Cestina (Czech), Dansk (Danish), Deutsch (German), English (En-
glish), Espanol (Spanish), Francais (French), Italiano (Italian), Magyar (Hungarian), Nederlands (Dutch),
Norsk (Norwegian), Polski (Polish), Portugues (Portuguese), Suomi (Finnish), Svenska (Swedish)

Click [SmartDeviceMonitor for Client / Admin].

Click to select [SmartDeviceMonitor for Client], and then click [Next >].

Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note
If you are required to restart the computer after the installation of SmartDeviceMonitor for Client,
restart the computer and continue with necessary configurations.
