Making copies

Basic copy
NOTE
• The default copy settngs are as follows:
Document type: Auto, Contrast: Darker, Zoom 100%, Sort: OFF.
• When the "Copy Protect" functon s set to ON, you cannot change the machne to
the Copy mode. (See page 9-92)
• When the "Authentcaton mode" feature s actvated, you wll be requred to
authentcate yourself usng your doman user name and password pror to access-
ng the machne functons. (Refer to "Network authentcaton mode" on page
9-49.)
• When the "User Access/Cost Account" feature s actvated for the copy mode, you
wll be requred to logn as an OfficeBrdge user pror to accessng the copy func-
tons. (Refer to "User Access/Cost Accountng" on page 8-8.)
• When the "User Logn Settng" feature s actvated, you wll be requred to logn
as an OfficeBrdge user pror to accessng the machne functons. (Refer to "User
Logn Settng" on page 9-27.)
To make a copy:

• To stop copyng, press <Stop>.
• When you set the sort copy, card copy, combne copy or duplex copy, you can set to
scan the next documents. For detals, refer to "Settng the next documents" on the
next page.

Set the document. (See page 1-33)
Set each copy settng as necessary.
• In basc functons, you can set the document type, scannng contrast, zoom
rato and sort. For detals on settng each functon, refer to "Basc Functons"
(pages 2-2 to 2-13).
• For the advanced functons (Card copy, Combne copy, Duplex copy), refer to
"Advanced Functons" (pages 2-14 to 2-28).
Enter the number of copes usng the numerc keys.
• You can set up to 99 copes.
• If you make an ncorrect entry, overwrte t wth the correct entry.
Press <Start>.
Copyng starts.
