Resolution
You can select ether 200 dp, 300 dp, or 600 dp scan resolutons for monochrome
scannng, or 100dp, 200dp, 300dp, or 600 dp scan resoluton for color scannng.
Scannng at 600 dp provdes greater detal n scanned mages, but creates large
files and uses more PC and machne-based memory. Color documents scanned at
600 dp data may not appear correctly n your applcaton software.

NOTE
When you press [User] or [Bulletn Board], the machne prompts you to logn as an
OfficeBrdge user.

NOTE
• When you are scannng monochrome documents, the color resolutons are grayed
out. To scan a color document, first toggle [Color] to "ON", and the color resoluton
settng wll become avalable.
• For "Scan to user" and "Scan to bulletn board", only the monochrome scannng s
avalable. For "Scan to prnter", only the color scannng s avalable.
• You can change the default settng for "Resoluton". See "Accessng the default
scan settngs" on page 9-10.

Press <SCAN> on the control panel.
Press [e-mal], [Folder], [FTP], [Prnter], [User], or [Bulletn Board].
Press [Resoluton].
Select the desred resoluton.
Press [Enter].
