Copy protection

Lmt the use of the machne to send, receve, scan, PC prnt only, meanng the copy
mode cannot be used:
NOTE
• If copy protecton s actve, whenever someone tres to swtch the machne to the
copy mode, the machne wll beep and dsplay "Copy protected".
• When you set the copy protect to [ON], you cannot use the macro program.
To set the copy protecton:

NOTE
When the protect passcode has been set, use the numerc keys to enter the protect
passcode and press [Enter].
When the protect passcode has not been set, proceed to step 3.

Press <Settng> on the control panel.
Press [Management], [Next], then [Copy Protect].
Press [ON] to actvate copy protecton.
Press [Enter] to save the settng.
