Redialing

Automatic fax redialing

If the transmsson faled because the lne was busy, the machne wll automatcally
redal the number (up to 2 tmes) n one mnute ntervals.
If the last redal attempt fals, the error message wll automatcally prnt. Check
the message and transmt agan.
NOTE
• The number s not automatcally redaled n the manual transmsson and real-
tme transmsson.
• The auto redal frequency and nterval can be set from 0 to 14 redal attempts,
from 0 to 5 mnutes respectvely. For detals on settngs, refer to "Fax settngs"
(page 9-8).
• To cancel the auto redal, press <Job Confirm./Fax Cancel> to delete the reserved
command. For detals on cancelng the communcaton, refer to "Revewng or
cancelng commands" (page 4-26).

Manual redialing

The last 10 numbers for fax transmssons/phone calls are kept n memory.

Set the document.
Press <FAX> to dsplay the Fax standby mode.
Press [Redal].
Select the fax number you want to redal.
