If the call fails

If the call fals, the next steps wll depend on the type of call t was (fax or phone).
If it was a fax call...
...Your machne wll automatcally redal the number. It wll keep tryng untl one
of the followng occurs:
• It successfully reaches the other number.
• The maxmum redal attempts has been reached.
If it was a regular phone call...
...You wll have to redal manually:

You can receve a call wth the machne's handset even f the power has been
turned OFF.

Adjusting the optional handset volume

The small swtches on the sde of your machne's handset adjusts the rnger and
recever volume.

Lft the handset.
Press [Redal].
Your machne can remember the last 10 daled numbers.
Select the number you want to call.
Press <Start>.
Lft the handset when the machne rngs.
Answer the phone.
Adjust the rnger volume to one of three settngs
: Hgh, Medum or Low.
If t s hard to hear the remote person's voce, adjust
the recever volume to one of three settngs
: Hgh, Medum, or Low.
