Scanning documents into a folder

You can scan a document drectly nto a network folder.
NOTE
To save a scanned document to a folder, you should have a shared folder n your
computer. Create a shared folder n advance, referrng to your PC manual f neces-
sary.

You cannot browse the followng folders from the machne:
• Folders that are not n the same segment wth your machne.
• Folders that name contan 13 or more characters.
• Folders whose lnk contans more than 100 characters n length.

Set the document.
Press <SCAN> on the control panel.
Press [Folder].
Adjust the scan settngs, or set advanced functons.

to 6-11 and "Advanced functons" on pages 6-48 to 6-60.
Press [Browse]. The "Network Navgaton" screen wll be dsplayed.
