Paper jams

If a paper jam occurs, the followng dsplay wll appear.
Follow these procedures to clear the paper jam.
If a paper jam occurs durng fax recepton, the machne wll store the receved
document nto memory and prnt them automatcally once the paper jam has been
cleared.
When you open the sde cover to remove the paper, DO NOT touch the fuser roller.
The fuser unt s very hot.
IMPORTANT
Do not touch the drum cartrdge surface. Scratches or smudges wll result n poor
prnt qualty.

NOTE
Avod gettng loose toner on your hands and clothes when removng the jammed
paper.

Pull the release lever to open the sde cover.
If the optonal second cassette has been attached, open the 2nd sde cover as
well.
Carefully remove the jammed paper n the drecton shown.
