Using an alternative telephone net-
work service provider (Dial prefix)
When you make a call, you may want to use an alternatve telephone network
servce provder to take advantage of lower rates. You can store the access codes n
the "Dal Prefix" key.
The followng nformaton descrbes how to program the access number.

NOTE
• You can enter numbers up to 40 dgts ncludng numbers, Pause and Tone.
Note that Pause and Tone wll be counted as 2 characters each.
• If you must wat for another dal tone at dalng, press [Pause] to nsert a pause
(/P) at the end of the access number.

Press <Settng>.
Press [Fax Settngs].
Press [Other Settngs].
(1) Press [Prev].
(2) Press [PreFx].
Enter the dal prefix number usng the numerc keys.
Press [Enter].
Press <Reset> to return to the standby mode.
