Skip this step if you are not configuring a SAN Volume replication onto a new Volume.
This step is the same for configuring both a SAN Volume and NAS Volume, except that no Target Name is
required for NAS Volumes and is therefore not displayed as an option.
The 'Confirm creation of new volumes' page opens.
Type in a name for your New Volume. You can also keep the default name.
Select the provision type. Exact Provisioning is the default setting.
Type in a name to us as the Target Name for your new Volume.
Note:
Avoid using upper case characters for this name, as this is not supported in this release.
Click the Next button to continue.
11
The 'Configure the Replication specific parameters' page opens.
Type the name you want to use for your Consistency group in the Consistency group name field.
Select the Resync priority. This field allows you to customize your resync priority.
Resync is used to synchronize the volumes. Setting the resync priority closer to 100% makes the volumes
more current, however it takes more system resources (such as CPU and memory resources) when this
setting is higher. It is set to 25 by default.
Click the Next button to continue.
12
A summary of the replication pair(s) and its parameters appears.
Click the Finish button to complete the wizard.
13
The Replication Pair(s) will be created. The Snap Assisted Replication Management
page opens and will display the status of the Replication Progress.
