When "Obtain IP and DNS Server Addresses Automatically" is selected the following is
true:
Field/Item Description
Current IP Address This field displays the current IP address of the selected Network Interface.
Current Subnet Mask This field displays the current Subnet Mask of the selected Network Interface.
Select Network This dropdown menu allows you to select the NIC to configure (if applicable).

Obtain IP and DNS By default the TCP/IP setting is set to obtain an IP Address and DNS server address from
Server Addresses a DHCP server.
Automatically
Specify IP Address To specify an IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS information, left click the
and DNS Server 'Specify an IP address and DNS server address' option.
Addresses
IP Address This field displays the IP address of the selected Network Interface.
Subnet Mask This field displays the Subnet Mask of the selected Network Interface.
Default Gateway This field displays the Gateway of the selected Network Interface.
Primary DNS Server This field displays the Primary DNS Server of the selected Network Interface.
Secondary DNS This field displays the Secondary DNS Server of the selected Network Interface.

DNS Suffix This field displays the current DNS Suffix of the selected Network Interface.
