Installation Steps:
StorTrends ITX 3100i (Broadcom Controller)
1.
Backup your old data, perform a system reboot and enter the Broadcom BIOS
Utility (CTRL+R)
2.
Delete all previous RAID arrays and initialize all physical disks
3.
Check the version number of the BIOS.
If the version is not RC-200-XXX, then you need to update it to
the supported version (2.0).
Please get the supported version from
http://www.broadcom.com/products/raid_2.0.1_driver_download.php
Download the file firmware_v2.0.1.zip.
Reboot system and go back inside Broadcom BIOS Utility

Select Controller Options menu item and select Toggle Board ID to off

Automatic reboot of system is followed.

Again, go inside Broadcom BIOS Utility and create a RAID 50 of size 3.4GB
using *all* available disks in the system. For maximum safety and performance
choose Distributed Spare and Read-only cache for this array

Connect an external USB CD-ROM device to the box and boot the system with
the StorTrends ITX 2.6 CD, and it will prompt you through installation.
NOTES: Make sure that the boot sequence is set to the USB CD-ROM device first.
Not all USB CD-ROM devices may be supported by the BIOS.
For an updated list of supported CD-ROM devices, contact AMI.
StorTrends ITX 1100i (Marvell SATA Controller)

Boot the system with the StorTrends ITX 2.6 CD using the internal CD
drive, and it will prompt you through installation.
