The DS1 Fractional group consists of the DS1 fractional table. This table
(dsx1FracTable) allows channel (time slots) to be mapped between the DSX-1
T1 interface and data ports, voice ports, and DDL. If an invalid channel map is
received (e.g., two interfaces are mapped to the same time slot or one interface
mapped to two DSX-1 T1 interfaces), an error is returned to the SNMP manager.
The unit validates all channel configurations before applying them. This table is
fully supported by the unit.
NOTE:
Using the DS1 Fractional group, a time slot on one interface cannot be
mapped to a time slot on another interface. This prevents complete mapping
of time slots on the DSX-1 T1 interface to time slots on the network T1
interface. For this reason, it is recommended that
