Object Description
ifType Identifies the interface type
( ifEntry 3 ) based on the physical/link
protocol(s), immediately
below the network layer.
Used for the network and
DSX-1 T1 interfaces.
Used for synchronous
data ports when not
configured for V.35. Used
for EDLs and FDL
management links.
Used for COM port when
the port is configured for
PPP, and the DDL.
Used for the COM port
when the port is not
configured as a network
communication link.
Used for the COM port
when the port is
configured for SLIP.
Used for the synchronous
data ports when
configured for V.35.

FXO Voice
FXS Voice
ifMtu Identifies the largest
( ifEntry 4 )
datagram that can be sent or
received on an interface. It is
applicable only to the
interfaces when they are
configured as network
management links: COM,
FDL, EDLs, and DDL.
