Extension to Interface Table (ifXTable)
This extension contains additional objects for the interface table. The T1 access
unit supports only the following objects.

Object Description
ifName Provides name of the
(ifXEntry 1) interface.
ifLinkUpDown- Indicates whether the
TrapEnable linkUp and linkDown should
(ifXEntry 14)
be generated.
ifHighSpeed Automatically inserts the
(ifXEntry 15)
ifSpeed setting for the
interface.
ifConnector- Indicates whether there is a
Present physical connector for the
(ifXEntry 17) interface.

Interfaces supported: T1, DSX-1, COM
port, data ports. Read only and set
based on the value of the ifSpeed for the
interface:
IfSpeed from 0 to 499,999 bps = 0
IfSpeed from 500,000 bps to
1,499,999 = 1
ifSpeed from 1,500,000 bps to
1,536,000 = 2
true(1) – Always have this value for
the network T1, DSX-1, COM, Sync
Data ports, and Voice ports.
false(2) – Always have this value for
FDL, DDL, and EDLs.
