Crankcase assembly: crankcase halves
Unscrew the two bolts (12) on the clutch side near the vertical cylinder.
Re-use the alternator-side crankcase cover or a service cover with puller 88713.1749. Secure it to the crankcase
half using some of the original bolts and begin separating the crankcase halves by turning the central pin of the tool.
Tap the end of the gearbox output shaft with a plastic mallet to separate the crankcase halves.
Notes
Take care not to lose the shims on the shafts and on the selector drum.
