Chapter 2 Scanning
Reproduction Size
Enlarge or shrink the scanned data.
[100% (1:1)]
The data will not be enlarged or shrunk.
[Auto]
Automatically sets the reproduction size based on
the settings for the [Scanning Size] and [Page
Size].
[Reduce], [Enlarge]
The data is enlarged or shrunk with the selected
reproduction size.
Manual
The data is enlarged or shrunk with the user-
defined reproduction size.
Touch [Reproduction Size].

The [Reproduction Size] screen is displayed.
Specify the reproduction size.

To use a user-defined reproduction size, touch [
or [
] to specify the size. You can also enter the
number using the numeric keys.
Touch [OK].

Scan Job Build
You can scan multiple originals with different
settings and combine the jobs into a one job.
The scanned data is saved as one document file.
[OFF], [ON]
Touch [Scan Job Build].

The [Scan Job Build] screen is displayed.
Touch [ON].

Load the original and press the

[Start] key.
Scanning of the original starts, and when it is
completed, the [Confirm] screen is displayed.
Touch [Change Setting].

settings when scanning from the second

[Color Mode], [Duplex/Simplex],
[Scanning Level], [Original Orientation],
[Book Shadow Erasure], [Original Type],
[Gamma Correction], [Image Control],
[Base Color Level]
Load the next original and press the

[Start] key.
Scanning of the original starts, and when it is
completed, the [Confirm] screen is displayed.
Repeat steps 5 to 7 as needed.

If you do not have to change the settings, follow the
displayed messages for operation.
