When the resolution of the original differs from
the resolution of the overlay image, the
printout may become coarse. Make copies
upon matching the [Image Quality] settings for
the original and the overlay image.
Even when the overlay image is a color image,
if the copy is set to black and white, the image
will also be copied in black and white.
If the size or orientation of the paper differs
between the original and overlay image, the
overlay function will be unavailable.
Documents are saved in the storage in the
form of data that includes setting details.
When printing a document, be sure to do so
with the same type of paper as that which was
configured when the document was saved in
the storage. When you change the paper type,
the printing result changes.
If the original and the overlay image overlap
on the portions having the same color, it might
be difficult to distinguish the image of the
assimilated portions.

Program

When you want to distribute the different number of
copies by group (such as classes or corporate
division), you can quickly print the necessary
number of copies with a single copy job.
For example, to distribute a leaflet to the parents of
all first-grade students in school, you can print by
dividing copies by class.
^
^
You need to register a program for the number
of copies and sets, sorting, slip sheets, and
other options for each group beforehand.
[Program] cannot be used together with [Sort],
[Overlay], or [Separation]. (p.64 "Sort", p.73
"Overlay", p.77 "Separation")
