Chapter 1 Copying
The text is printed at the bottom (within approx.
5 mm (7/32") of the edge) or top (within approx.
5 mm (7/32") of the edge) of the sheet.
Touch [Separation].

The [Separation] screen is displayed.
Select the position where slip

sheets are to be inserted.
Touch the paper tray.

The [Select Tray] screen is displayed.
Select the paper tray for slip sheets

and touch [OK].
Configure the [Number Printing]

Touch [OK].

If you are using the optional face down
finisher, high capacity stacker, or multifunction
finisher, you can configure [Offset Output]. For

Binding Margin

Specify the binding margin.

You cannot use the [Binding Margin] function
with the [Booklet] or [Page Border] function.

[Binding Edge]
Specify the binding edge.
Width
Enter the width using [
keys.
[Auto Reduction]
Set this option to [ON] to automatically reduce the
image size to fit the image on the paper in order to
prevent the edges from not being printed even
when a margin width is specified.
Touch [Binding Margin].

The [Binding Margin] screen is displayed.
Specify the binding margin.

Select [Binding Edge].
Use [
], [
], or the numeric keys to enter the
width.
Turn [Auto Reduction] to [ON] in order to prevent
the edges from not being printed even when a
margin width is specified.
Touch [OK].

Staple / Punch

If you are using the optional face down finisher or
multifunction finisher, the staple function is
available at the specified position. The binding
margin can also be configured. If you are using the
optional multifunction finisher with the punch unit,
you can also configure the punch setting.
