Print and Pause
When printing a document with a large number of
pages or sheets, a page or a set is printed (this
page or set is not included in the number of pages
specified) for you to check before starting the
actual printing. After you check the printout, press
the [Start] key on the printer to continue printing.
Select the check box to enable this option.

A printout of your check is output according to
the printing method ([Uncollated] or [Collated])
which is selected under [Sort].
After checking the printout, you can change
the settings on the operation panel of the
printer. (p.101 "Changing Settings During
Printing")

Sort
Specify the paper output method when printing
multiple copies.
[Collated], [Uncollated]
^
^
If [Collated] is selected, remove the check
mark from [Collate] in the Print dialog box
of the application. Documents may not be
properly printed if this check box is
selected.

Original Size
Specify the paper size and orientation of the
document data.
[Orientation]
[Portrait], [Landscape]
^
^
When printing on envelopes, it is
recommended that you connect the optional
stacking tray and envelope feed kit.
The list shows the sizes registered in [Custom
Paper Entry] in the [Environment] tab. (p.128

Specifying a Custom Size
When the document is a non-standard size, select
[Custom].
Select [Custom] for [Original Size].

The [Custom] dialog box is displayed.
Enter the document size.

Click [OK].

The size entered here is only valid when
configuring the document size.
Registering frequently-used document
sizes can be useful. (p.128 "Custom

Mixed Size Original
Use this option when multiple different original
sizes are used in the original data.
If [Mixed Size Original] is enabled, the paper tray
that suits the document size will be automatically
selected.

You cannot use the [Mixed Size Original]
option with the [Paper Size], [Combine],
[Image Repeat], [Booklet], [Binding Edge],
[Add Cover], [Poster], [Blank Page Detection],
[Form Overlay], or [Multi-part Paper Printing]

When using this function with duplex printing,
duplex printing is only applied when the size of
the front and back of the document is the
same. (If the size is not the same, the back of
the page is left blank.)
When printing the mixed-size document data
after [Mixed Size Original] is disabled, all
pages are printed in the size of the first page.
Using This Function with Duplex
Printing
When using this function with duplex printing, you
can set the binding position for each paper size.
Select the [Mixed Size Original] check box and
click [Details] to display the [Mixed Size Original]
dialog box. Select the binding position for each
size.
