Press ESC to exit programming; "done" will be displayed to confirm any changes to the data,
after which the measurement value will be shown.
N. B.
• The Quick Read requires to be re-zeroed if one or more of the variables PROBE, M.UNIT,
M.RANGE, SET N.VA, M.RESOL., MASTER, K, are modified during the programming. The
message "NOT CAL." is displayed at the end of programming.
• Even if a new zeroing is required, it is always possible to return the programming mode by
pressing PROG/ENTER, and modify the variables before zeroing.
• If DIGITSET = off is programmed, the numeric visualization of the measurement can be
displayed for some seconds, in measuring mode, by pressing ESC.
• The unit identification number must be programmed only if Quick Read has to be connected
to a P.C. or to a data collector. If more than one unit has to be connected to the same P.C. or
data collector, a unique number must be programmed for each unit.
• If the data format QRbin. is selected for the serial transmission to a P.C., the transmission
parameters are prefixed ( BAUD=9600; PARITY=e, 8, 1) and cannot be modified.

3.3 Display resolution

The digital display resolution can be 0,1 micron (.00001") or 1 micron (.00005") for the
measuring ranges up to ±1 mm (.04"). It is 1 micron (.00005") for the ranges ± 2,5 mm (.10")
and ± 5 mm (.20").
If M.RANGE = ± 0,250 / ± 0,500 / ± 1,000 mm (± .010" / ± .020" / ± .040") and SET N.VA =
0, the resolution can be 0,1 or 1 micron. The variable M.RESOL appears in the main menu
and can be programmed (low = 1 micron, high = 0,1 micron).
If M.RANGE = ± 0,250 / ± 0,500 / ± 1,000 mm (± .010" / ± .020" / ± .040") and SET N.VA #
0, the resolution is always 1 micron.
If M.RANGE = ± 2,500 / ± 5,000 mm (± .100" / ± .200") the resolution is always 1 micron
even if SET N.VA = 0.
NOTE
The value of the variables UpperTOL, LowerTOL, MASTER and PreTRAV. is programmed
with 0,1 micron or 1 micron resolution according to the selected display resolution.
The analog display resolution depends on the programmed analog scale value (variable
SCALE).
The analog resolution is therefore determined by the formula:
Since the minimum programmable value is 10 microns (.00050"), the minimum value of the
analog resolution is 1 micron (.00005").
