11. Installing ATC & Alignment
11.1 Installing ATC
※ When the machine leveling, static accuracy inspection and resetting the reference point
for each axis are completed, install ATC base alone before installing ATC. This is to
facilitate the installation work for you.
▪ Since ATC is heavy-weighted and unbalanced, you must pay special attention to the
rope thickness and overall balance. (Weight: 3,500Kg)
1) Arranging the component parts
Lift up ATC using the crane to get it close to the
machine, and arrange and insert the wires and
hoses in the corresponding holes in ATC before
mounting it onto the main unit.
2) Mounting ATC
① Before ATC comes to contact on the ATC base, adjust 4 height bolts on either ends
of ATC so as to make a 20mm gap from the ATC bottom.
② Based on the height adjusting devices on both ends of the tool magazine, mount
ATC onto the base.
③ Adjust the ATC height bolt so that the hole of the ATC fixing bolt is positioned in the
approximate center.
④ For your safety, tighten 4 ATC fixing bolts on both ends before proceeding.
