6.3 Removing the transit clamps

Remove the transit clamps that are designed to prevent the slippery table or column base
by factory default.
1) Removing the X-axis (Table) transit clamps
Remove the X-axis (table) transit clamps fixed
to the edge of the table bed and the table base.
2) Removing the Z-axis (Column) transit clamps
Remove the Z-axis (column) transit clamps
fixing the edge of the column bed and the rear
of the column.
3) Removing the Y-axis (Spindle Head) transit
clamps
Turn on the machine and fix the Y-axis ball
screw coupling before removing the support
from the Y axis spindle head.
4) Removing the transit clamps from the ATC arm
Remove the transit clamps from the ATC arm,
which were installed to prevent possible
damage to the locking pin in the process of
rotation of ATC main changer.
