4.4 Temporary Installation of APC
1) Install the foundation components onto APC in the same manner as you did onto the
bed.

2) Install the APC temporary bracket in the X-axis bed and place APC over APC temporary
block.

3) Remove the rear cover of APC (top of the motor), and place a long block in the X-axis
direction (i.e., Z-axis direction in the APC guide way). Then, place the level on the block
and install APC temporarily.
① Strike a horizontal balance while checking the level.
② Align the height and distance while checking the position of the APC temporary front
bracket.
③ Adjust the overall parallelism while eye-checking the installation line in the X-axis
bed.
4) When the temporary installation of APC #1 is completed, repeat the same process for
APC #2. Install the APC temporary rear bracket to adjust the distance between two
APCs.
