4.20. System Board Module

4.20.1. Removing a System Board Module

To remove a system board module:
1.
Power off the server, and then detach the power cord from the power supply.
2.
Remove the top cover.
3.
Pull the system board tray out a little and then disconnect all the cables from the system board.
4.
Remove the system board tray from the chassis.
5.
Remove the M.2 card.
6.
Remove the memory modules.
7.
Remove the heat sink.
8.
Remove the processor.
9.
Remove the screws securing the system board and the system board tray.
10.
Remove the USB cover from the system board.
11.
Lift the front of the system board and pull it away from the rear of the system board tray. Make sure
the I/O ports clear of the system board tray before lifting the system board.
12.
Remove the system board.
