4.18.2. Removing a Heat Sink

To remove a heat sink:
1.
Power off the server, and then detach the power cord from the power supply.
2.
Remove the top cover.
3.
Remove the system board tray.
4.
Disconnect the CPU fan cable from the system board.
5.
Loosen the four screws in the order shown.
6.
Remove the heat sink.
