7. Lift the processor out of the socket.

4.19.2. Installing a Processor

ESD protection must be worn during the procedure to avoid damaging the components.
To install a processor:
1. Align the indents on processor with the corresponding tabs on socket.
2. Insert the processor into the socket, being sure that the four keys on the socket fit into the
corresponding keys on the processor.
