CRANKCASE
Attaching the cover
Installing the oil pump crankshaft gear
• Clean the contact surfaces of the crankshaft gear
(1) and crankshaft
• Push on the crankshaft gear over
tool [167] (2) and (3) as far as the stop
Attaching the cover
Note
Attach the seal with the screen-printed
side facing the crankcase.
• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Remove the cover (1) with a new seal (3) and new
O-rings (5)
• Screw in and tighten the mounting bolts (2) and
(6) as marked

Attaching coolant temperature sensors
• Lightly apply clean
coolant temperature sensors (1) and (2)
• Fit coolant temperature sensors (1) and (2) with
new sealing rings and tighten to
