Removing the engine control units
Disconnecting the engine control unit (slave)
electrical connections
• Mark the installation position of the wiring
harnesses and cable ties
• Fully unlock and pull off the connectors (1), (2) and
(3)
• Mark the installation position of the cable ties and
then disconnect
• Expose the wiring harnesses
Disconnecting the engine control unit (master)
electrical connections
• Mark the installation position of the wiring
harnesses and cable ties
• Fully unlock and pull off the connectors (1), (2) and
(3)
• Mark the installation position of the cable ties and
then disconnect
• Expose the wiring harnesses
Detaching the engine control unit (slave)
• Unscrew the mounting bolts (3) and remove with
the bracket (1)
• Remove the engine control unit (2) from the
bracket
Detaching the engine control unit (master)
• Unscrew the mounting bolts (1)
• Remove the engine control unit (2) from the
bracket (3)
Detaching the engine control unit bracket
• Unscrew the mounting nuts (4) and remove with
washers (3)
• Pull out the mounting bolts (1)
• Remove the stop for control unit bracket (2)
