Installing the high-pressure pump
Installing the overow valve
WARNING
Danger of damage due to dirt ingress
• Clean the components and blow them
dry using compressed air
• Remove Protective sleeve Z 14 x 15 [44]
plug [45]
• Screw the overow valve (1) with a new sealing
ring (2) into the high-pressure pump and tighten to
34 Nm
Attaching the fuel pump
• Insert the coupling element (3) into the fuel pump
(1)
• Insert the fuel pump (1)
• Screw in the mounting bolts (2) and tighten them
to 8 Nm
Installing the metering unit
• Pull a new O-ring onto the metering unit (1)
• Insert the metering unit (1)
and End
• Tighten the mounting bolts (2) to
Nm
• Tighten the mounting bolts (2) to
Nm
Installing the drive shaft
• Insert the drive gear (3)
• Insert the drive shaft (1) into the drive housing (2)

Note
When using micro-encapsulated bolts,
the time between the tightening stages
must not be longer than 2 minutes
