INTAKE/EXHAUST SYSTEM
Installing exhaust pipes
Installing connecting pieces
• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Install new connecting pieces (2) and (4) in the
exhaust pipe (1)
• Position the exhaust pipe (3)
Mounting the exhaust pipe
• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Fit exhaust pipes (1) and (2) with new seals (5)
and position them
• Screw in new mounting bolts (3) with bushes (4)
and tighten to Initial torque 22 Nm
• Tighten the mounting bolts (3) to
90°
• Tighten the mounting bolts (3) to
10°

Attaching the exhaust manifold
• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Position the exhaust manifold (6) with new seals
(1) and (7)
• Screw on and tighten mounting nuts (5) with
bushes (4) and tighten to
• Screw on and tighten mounting nuts (3) with
bushes (2) and tighten to
Attaching the cover plate holder
• Position the holder (1)
• Screw in mounting bolts (2) with washers and
tighten them
2nd tightening
Final tightening
AE6 3st edition
60 Nm
60 Nm
