16. Using a piston puller, remove the piston from the
reservoir. Push the piston and piston puller out of
the top of the reservoir. Do not pull the piston.
This could damage the lip seal.
CAUTION - The lip seal is made from virgin
Teflon
and is very soft. Use extreme care
®
when handling to prevent damage. A small
nick will ruin the seal and allow fuel to leak.

reservoir cover and disassemble it by removing
the three Allen screws. Discard the filter ele-
