3.5 PRINT REPORT

1. Press F3 for the VIEW TEST HISTORY
display.
2. Connect a serial cable between the printer and
the JFTOT 25-pin connector located on the side.
Attach the printer to the line power. Turn the
printer power to ON. Be sure there is paper in
the printer. The printer may be left connected to
the JFTOT to speed up printing test reports.
3. Press F1 to request a report.
Press any key except EXIT to print report.

NOTE – The test data from this test will be re-
tained in memory after power is turned off.
Reports from the six most recently saved test data
can be printed from memory.
NOTE – If the printer is not properly connected
or configured, the JFTOT will wait until the
printer is ready. However, you may abort the
printing by pressing EXIT twice. Correct the
problem, then press F1 to print the report.
4. When the JFTOT has finished transmitting data
to the printer, the VIEW TEST HISTORY
screen will be displayed. Press EXIT to return to
the MAIN MENU.
5. Remove the report from the printer, and add:
a. fuel description and related information,
b. fuel temperature at aeration (from 2.8,
Step 10).
6. Measure and record the amount of water
collected in the beaker from the air trap drip line
(graduated cylinder to the nearest 1 mL). This
amount is equal to the amount of Fuel Displaced
during the test. Add Fuel Displaced to the report
as the "Pumped Fuel Volume." Empty the water
from the beaker into the appropriate waste
container.
7. Calculate the fuel flow rate as follows:
Flow Rate = Fuel Displaced
If the flow rate is less than 2.70 mL/min, the
test is invalid.
WARNING HOT SURFACES - the heater
test section and lines will be hot. To
prevent burns, allow to cool before touch-
ing.
