After the temperature has stabilized at the specified
Setpoint:
a. the bypass valve(s) will CLOSE automatically,
b. the ∆P reading(s) will become visible.
After two minutes, the DP value(s) will automatically
tare to zero (0 mm Hg). A "(T)" will appear in the
lower right corner of the display when the ∆P values
have been tared.

The JFTOT will record automatically the ∆P. If the
∆P exceeds 250mmHg the JFTOT will open the
appropriate bypass valve. When a bypass valve is
open, "bypass" is displayed in place of the ∆P
reading.
Heater Tube Temperature Profile, if specified, is
obtained in accordance with Appendix 3. This
procedure can only be followed after the heater has
been on for more than thirty minutes.
