17. Insert the thermocouple into the upper end of the
heater tube and lower to the 39 mm position
(each line is 2 mm).
2.5 ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION OF
PRE-FILTER
1. For each test, use a new 0.45 um membrane
filter element of 25 mm diameter.
2. Using a clean flat-bladed unserrated tweezers,
install the filter element back-up screen in the
pre-filter housing recess.

3. Using a clean tweezers, place the 0.45 µm white
membrane filter element on the back-up screen,
then install the O-ring on the other half of the
pre-filter housing.
4. Assemble the two housing sections, insert the
three screws, and tighten.
5. Connect the pre-filter assembly to the reservoir
cover and finger tighten snugly.
