2.9 ASSEMBLY OF FUEL RESERVOIR
SECTION
1. Remove the filter/aeration funnel from the fuel
reservoir. Some fuel may spill over the top of
the reservoir, but the amount will be small and
can be caught by wrapping a rag or towel
around the cylinder.
2. Screw the fuel reservoir cover in place, taking
care the O-ring stays in the groove. Remove
the fuel reservoir from the stand and wipe the
outside of the reservoir to remove any fuel.
3. Screw the fuel reservoir onto the drive assem-
bly.
4. Attach the reservoir outlet line to the top of the
prefilter and finger tighten snugly.

5. Attach the reservoir outlet line to the heater
tube housing inlet and finger tighten snugly. If
the test is being run on a Model 240, cap the
∆P2– port with a thumb-nut cap.
6. The apparatus is now ready for the test.
