Remove the water reservoir from the apparatus and
place it in a cleaning pan. Remove the water reser-
voir cover and empty the fuel and water in the
reservoir into the appropriate waste container.
NOTE - A quick connect hose fitting is provided
for those who prefer to empty the reservoir before
cleaning.
NOTE - the water reservoir can be stored on the
JFTOT or placed over the upside-down funnel (P/
N 27078).
Remove the glass jar from the air trap assembly and
empty the fuel and water in the jar into the appropri-
ate waste container.
Check the pan underneath the JFTOT for evidence
of fuel leaks. If fuel is found, check the reservoir lip
seal for damage and replace if necessary, and have
the fuel pump serviced.

COMPLETE TEST REPORT

The completed report shall include the following:
• The maximum heater tube temperature (setpoint).
• Heater tube deposit rating(s).
• The maximum pressure drop across the filter or the
time required to reach a pressure differential of 25
mmHg.
• Fuel displaced at the end of a normal test.
NOTE - The tube rating and DP criteria are a
means of deciding whether a pass or fail result
has been obtained at the test temperature.
